This entirely depends on what stage your booking is in:

If you've simply sent an Enquiry, no money has been taken from you. You can simply cancel the request.

If you have sent a Direct Booking that is not yet confirmed, and you:
- chose to pay by credit card--the pre-authorisation placed on your credit card will be automatically released and no charge will be made if you cancel the booking request.
- chose to pay through iDEAL--a refund will be issued immediately when you cancel the booking request. -
If you've sent an Enquiry or a Direct Booking that is not yet confirmed, no money has been taken from your card. You can simply cancel the request. In the case of a non-confirmed Direct Booking, the pre-authorisation placed on your credit/debit card will be automatically released and no charge will be made.

If you have a confirmed booking but the booking hasn't started yet, you can cancel the booking and then the sitter's cancellation policy will apply, refunding you automatically the appropriate amount (read here about cancellation policies)

If your booking is in progress or already completed, you will need to contact our Support Team at hulp@dogbuddy.com to request a refund.
