Whether sitter or owner, if you really want to close your account, just go to Account > Close Account and select the reason you want to cancel. Keep in mind that closing your account is irreversible and all your data will be lost in case you want to sign up again in the future.
- If you have a booking that is Confirmed, In Progress or a Direct Booking (still unanswered by the sitter), you will be prompted to cancel those before being able to close your account.
- If you're just looking to unsubscribe from DogBuddy marketing communications, simply go to Account > Notifications and select which kind of communications you'd like to receive.
- To unsubscribe from transactional messages (such as those notifying you a sitter has pre-approved a booking for you), you'd have to close your account.
- If you're a dog sitter looking to cancel your account, this will also automatically deactivate your DogBuddy listing.
I need to take a break from being a sitter. Can I do that?
