Four hours after a booking is completed, the dog owner will be notified that they can now leave a review for the completed service and rate how satisfied they were with their sitter, awarding them with 1 to 5 stars. Once the review is submitted, it will become visible on the sitter's listing.
As a dog sitter, you can leave a public reply to an owner's review, thanking them for their review or clarifying any questions they raised. Great reviews can help to significantly boost a listing's attractiveness, helping it appear higher in the local search results. So, make sure to provide a good service and resolve any outstanding issues before the booking end date.
We never delete or alter reviews, unless there is profanity or sensitive personal information disclosed in the text (e.g. the sitter's children's names or phone number). We suggest that you look at our Review Guidelines to get an idea for best practices when responding to reviews publicly.
You're welcome to send the owner a reminder message if they haven't yet submitted their review. We encourage owners to submit their review within two weeks of the booking end date.
